Finally got the air inlet hose today. Fired it up. Smoked for a few minutes then went away. Shut it down and put the new MAP Sensor on it and it ran alot better. Here are a few pics of the car and the new hauler I bought yesterday. TTA #308 as we say in the south "Bless it's pea pickin heart."
:toot::toot::toot:

BTW - Philly6, It sure would look good with that new steering wheel!:clap::clap:

I like that trailer you bought. I'm thinking about buying one just like it.

I'm Not sure where in NW Pa you are but check out Econo Trailers. They are very similar at the cheapest prices I have seen. My friend bought one from them at Carlisle and it works great and gets used a lot. They are located just off the Turnpike but I can't remember what town. You can see there shop from the turnpike.
If you haven't heard of them check them out.

You didn't have that baby going sideways down the street yet?
just took it out for its first test drive , yeah im still grinning :thumbup: i floored it at 45 mph and i thought the tires was going to break loose ! spool , baby spool , you were right Ratfink :burnrubber:

does anybody got any ideas on my boost gage not working ? all the vac lines are good and i thought the new map would fix it , i have no idea how much boost this thing is running

Do you have the TTA service manual supplement?

It is good for helping you trace down problems in these cars.

You could do as alot of guys have and mount pilar gauges for the boost, knock, etc.

Somethings I won't do myself, that is why I took my car to a shop that knew these cars.

I took it to a guy about 4hrs from you in south GA. He knows these cars and has a TTA also.

This way he can put my alky on there as well as the other things that could have been a nightmare to me.
