finding my TTA build number

The great thing about Pontiac is that they actually kept records about the cars they sold, while most of the other manufacturers just trashed everything after the cars were a couple years old. Because of this the Pontiac Historical Society was created PHS Historic Services For $50 you'll get an official letter stating your car number and a copy of a few documents for the car showing the options and original price.

The other option is that you can PM your VIN to Jan Larsson on here Turbo Trans Am Forum - View Profile: Jan Larsson and he can give you an idea of what the car # is. However, Jan's list has been made by finding out car numbers from people who have submitted to PHS and then he's filled in the gaps, but it's not official in any way. If you want to know right away I would PM him and he can give you a good idea of what it is while you wait on the paperwork from PHS.

Just got mine from PHS a few weeks ago, I called PHS and talked to Jim it was only $35 and got it in less than a week.

Pretty much all of the cars before yours where cloth/t-top. Yours were a festival car not all the other cloth before yours where (however most of them where festival cars as well).

I would need to check my database for exactly how many where cloth up to build no 59; PM me and I can have a look if you like.
