Factory Boost Gauge

Does anybody have a wiring diagram or know where the factory gauge gets its signal from? My car has a holley hp standalone system in it but the original harness is still there and being partially used. How would I get my factory boost gauge to work? If it is tied into the factory map lead, then I'm thinking I can just splice that to my holley signal wire. If it is something else, where would I pick it up at?

Also, as I mentioned, my stock harness is all still there and tapped into for a couple of things (cam and crank sensor, ac, ignition with holley spliced in, etc). I'm debating on chopping up the stock harness and removing what isn't needed but am on the fence due to the value of it. Not sure if I'd be better off just leaving it and dealing with the clutter or hacking it up and destroying a tta computer harness :(. Any input?

Boost gauge is run off of the map. I have a fast ECU, and I just run 2 maps. I know the factory gauge isn't exactly accurate, but I like when everything works

I'm the same way, I just like things working as they should :).

How was your fast done? Was the whole harness removed and done from scratch? Mine is still all there but the holley ties into it for various items. Seems like there is no way to remove my factory harness from the loop without dissecting it and it wasn't sure if it was worth cutting up a factory harness over. I can't help but to think that it would have been better to just cut the plug off the ecu and and splice the holley there. Wouldn't have the harness plus all the extra stuff under the hood like I do now and it would be easier to go back to stock.

Yea, mine is a mix of the two also. That left the original map plug unplugged, somi was able to just put in a second one. I think the only other unused plug is the o2 sensor, since the fast uses its own for what I believe is wideband output to the ecm

Gotcha, well I've been spending the day cutting, removing, splicing, etc. I have it thinned out pretty well and most of the unnecessary stuff removed. Have some more cleanup to do and then toss some loom on it and it's done. I do have a question about a wire going to a connector under the dash, so I'm going to post that now as well. If you have any diagrams or idea what it is, feel free to chime in :).

I have the service manual, it might be in there. I'll take a look at your other thread
Thanks but I found it with just a hunch and my meter- having a manual would be much easier for something like this! I'm getting it all but it would be much faster with a manual and diagrams here!

I typically get by without but for something like this, it would be nice to have. Does that suppliment have wiring diagrams, do you know? Wouldn't hurt to have.
