Exhaust system thoughts

I am thinking that this system from Summit is a pretty good deal for the money for a 3 inch exhaust. I am also planning on installing the tips Jan suggested in the past to give it the stock look. I am trying to keep expenses down for this car without hurting the performance. what i did was just have the 3in dp dumped right away but left stock exhaust on, looks stock but sounds nasty.

slp loud mouth would probably fit,it has dual tips...Im looking for a sweet exhaust has well..all you really need is the tips,a good exhaust shop can fab you up what you want for a fair price.

I put the Borla system on, very pleased and the tips that come with it are very similar to stock. Car sounds good too.

I am thinking of staying with my first choices. I like the smoothness of the pipes and the tips should look stock and I can't beat the price. I am trying to keep the costs down for this car and for less then $500, I think the system should be very nice. The Borla system is very nice and sounds great, but out of my range for costs.

Mike I ordered the SLP exhaust from Hawks yesterday, should be here Friday. I cant recall the gentlemans name but he price matched the summit price, he couldn't do free shipping but he included the conversion hangers for the exhaust to bolt in for free. Great guy, if you hold up till I install it, so you can see it and hear it, which will be next week.

Now the tips are out a bit to much for me will cut the pipes and that will bring the tips in more, plus yes need to straighten them out, wasn't easy working on the ground with a jack and stands.

I think it sounds better in person than on video, I myself think I found the perfect free flow exhaust.

That's louder than my 4" system.lol. It's tough to make these V6 sound good.

I really like it, now you can get the same system, but loudmouth II, which is quieter.
