About 3 years ago My wife took me to her parents house on Cape Cod, Ma.-To my amazement there was a TTA sitting under a pine tree in her backyard! The stickers were still in the factory box as well as the owners kit. I asked my wife about it- she said it was her brothers TTA, it had been sitting back there uncovered since 1992!! I almost threw up!!! She said he had bought it cash brand new from Puritan Pontiac In Hyannis, Ma.
It was completely stock except he had a high end($10,000) stereo system installed(1990) installed-or almost all installed , the trunk trim was off and laying in the trunk. The wing was cracking and the paint did not look all that bad, Could use a serious pressure washing and wax. Her mom wanted that car out of her yard and was sick of looking at it. I begged him to sell it to me but he said he didnt want to sell to a family member.
I believe he sold it for around $7,000. It had 20000 miles on it. His name is David Smith.
Does anyone have this car and how is it doing now?
