Do it enough and you can have the car like this in 3.5 hours...

Last pass in Noble 3 weeks ago I blew out the gasket on the drivers side header. Soooo here I am again. This time around I have another set of headers that are going to be jet hot coated and will be installed with no gasket.

Everytime I take the turbo off it makes me want to bolt a 6776s bb on there buttttt the funds dont suffice..

Now how much of this did dad do and how much of this did you do and be honest because you know I'll ask your dad! :D

I did this all myself. Had he been there it would have taken 6 hours after we bitched at eachother and threw tools. He and my mom were gone all week at a funeral. They came back today.

Haha shit that dog sleeps in bed.

I must confess that even though I have a distrust of using hi temp silicone sealant, I could see no other way to seal them up. I have the exact fel-pro header gaskets you have there (the 3.8 FWD application) and felt they would not hold up in a forced induction 3.8 like they would in a NA car. So I shelved them and went head and used the copper silicone goop even though I had sworn that stuff off for life. I'm sorry they failed on you but I'm glad for me that I didn't use those gaskets.

So....your parents left you home alone for a week? I hope you weren't playing air guitar in your underwear to Bob Seger and letting hookers throw parties at your house.

you'd be surprised what a little silicone will seal up. We use that shit like crazy at work, shit the last test stand I helped setup we almost used a whole tube (not high temp, just the Right Stuff black RTV). Some of the paste is better than any gasket that you're going to find and it can save a lot of time in the long run if used correctly.

Nah not all week just Tuesday-Saturday. Couldnt have picked a better week to be gone too with no school.:worthy:

Yeah I'll just throw some copper stuff on there and hope it holds together. Racing is fun but this isn't.
