Dash Pocket Emblem

Hey everyone :)

I noticed in another thread that Jared pointed out a car someone was looking at was missing the dash pocket emblem.

And now that I think about it, I didn't notice one in my car. :( I have to re-check, but I don't think it's there.

Does anyone know where I can get a NOS one? This sucks! :(

My Cloth/Hardtop car (1456) did not have one either. I have found them in the past on ebay.

You can also use the lapel pin and trim off the metal stud and use 3M 2 sided adhesive tape. The Lapel pin is identical. These pop up more often on ebay and some one around here might have one for sale.

Dave,
I found that the lapel pin is alittle bit thinner.
It will work, and most people can't tell the difference.
It just happened to be the easiest thing to steal, while sitting in the dealership showrooms.
You should have seen all the things that are stolen off cars at big auto car show, like the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show.
I have seen people steal the shifter even!:eeks:
Lately, I notice that the car companies now pull off the stick handles at the shows.

:beach:

I hate when people steal stuff at shows. I've been lucky that it hasn't happened to me yet but I don't normally go to huge car shows. I would probably just use a lapel pin too for the map pocket emblem, I've never seen the actual emblem that is supposed to be used for sale before.

Well, it looks like it has the NOS item I'm looking for. We'll see what happens with it. :)
