Camaros & Firebirds at AACA Museum

Today we had great weather and nothing to do so I decided to load the family up and head to the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA to check out the Camaro and Firebird display before it ends on April 4th. We decided to take #124 out for the first time this year so popped the carseat in the back and my wife, 4 year old daughter, and myself headed out. Definately a cool setup and anyone close enough should check the place out but for those who cant here are some pics.

A pole got knocked down on on 78 and blocked both lanes, had to go in the grass

Well thats it for now, got racing tomorrow with the 98 T/A so off to get some rest

shoot wish I would have known you were coming out this way, Hershey is only about 10 miles from me

whos TTA is that in the museum i didnt even know they had an event going on down there!

Also what is that silver 3rd gen in there, interesting styling on it i've never saw one like that before

The silver one is a ASC built concept car, today in private hands, if I remember correct they called it suntour (see 1987 Pontiac Firebird - Historical Tour - High Performance Pontiac Magazine
) ... I got a brochure of it somewhere. It's a 1 of 1 and they tried to sell the concept to GM but nothing came out of it apparently. It's really good looking I think.

Thanks guys, and sorry Rodimus we only thought about it the night before and didnt decide to go untill Friday morning. I'm always up for meeting with a fellow TTA owner. The TTA in the museum, along with quite a few other cars, were on loan from or donated by from Scott Milestone of Bethesda, MD. I dont know if your on here Scott but nice collection :thumbup:

The Silver T/A was called the Suntour and was an ineresting car to see. Here are the info sheets from the TTA and Suntour.

Steve you didn't get the VIN of that TTA did you? Just to update the VIN list.

Sorry they have the cars blocked off and while the people at the museum were really cool I didnt want to jump the gates. I can tell you it was a leather/t-top car and based on the other cars in his collection and patina I'd guess it's a very original low mile example.
