build number

I recently purchased an 89 TTA from the original owner, I didn't really know about these cars at the time I just knew it had the GN drive train. How can I find my build number, I see some owners know the exact number, how did they get this info?

Why are there two number 797 ttas on the registry page? Was one the previous owner or is there a dispute as to which is the real 797? Just curious, anyone know?
