Buick Nationals. Anyone Going?

I wish they would have the car show on Saturday instead of Friday because I start my new job at GM the Monday before so I won't be able to get it off. I might come down for Saturday to spectate but I don't know. How much are the hotels for Friday night?

How do you know the car show is friday? I was looking for some type of schedule but couldn't find aything. I'm leaving thursday night. And returning sunday.
Rooms are $89. I saw one place had them for $44.00

That's the 2006 schedule. Is it the same days?

oh haha I just assumed that they would have updated everything especially with the event only like 3 months away now.

Oh and I hope you trained your son right to get the good parts, and make sure he buys me some TTA stuff too.

I'll be there with some Philly and Texas boys! I think I'm going to leave Tues or Wed and I'll be there all weekend. Stayin at the host hotel. Best Western Motor Inn: Special GS Nationals Rate: 270.782.3800 Here is the link to the NATS web site http://www.gsnationals.com/ Don't know if I'll be flying in, driving in, or trailer the car down. The weather is so weird that time of year down there. Could be beautiful all week could rain all week. I would suggest staying at the host hotel as I hear that's where all the action is! :)

I'd love to go, but I don't think I'll be able to get off work. This would be my third time going if I make it.

If the forecast looks sunny, then I'll go and more than likley drive my TTA, since it's only about 25 minutes from where the car is stored. If the forecast calls for rain, then I'll probably still go, but I'll be sporting a super sexy Toyota Camry...VROOM VROOM.:D

Well boys I have some rooms all booked up at the Best Western (host hotel) in Bowling Green so I'm ready to go! I called today and they do offer free highspeed Wi-Fi network at the host hotel. So I'll be shooting pictures back nightly! Don't know what car I'll have there. That all depends on the weather coming and going and that week. I did ask them how many rooms were left and they told me as of today they are just about booked!! So if your thinking about going do it now! I can't wait!!!

I'm planning on going, but I doubt I'll bring the TTA this year. I have to get surgery on 3/20, so I probably won't be in any shape to make passes. Shit! I'll be on the campgrounds drinking Old Milwaukee with some old dudes near the fence, if anyone wants to come hang out! :headbang:

I would be going but I can't get out of work. I would have definately taken the TTA. Oh well, I'll make it to Reynolds.

Updates Updates!! Who is still going or not going or who knows! I'll be there from Tuesday till Sunday for sure! Started getting ready! Less then a week away! I can't wait. I talked to the guys who run this event last night said a few TTA's were coming and going to race. I'll have the laptop with pictures daily here! First time I've ever been there and the first vacation I took in a few years so look out!! :drunk: :drunk: :beach: :beach: I have my turbo six thong all packed away so you guys can't miss me!

I'm in. Rain=Toyota Camry, Sunny=TTA
I'm rocketing out of Downtown Nashville this Friday night hell bent for vinyl to get back to Western Kentucky to try and finish up Turbo install. Car may possibly run like sh*t with this hoggie turbo, but I'm not racing it anyway. I'm not in the Buick club, but it'll be fun to drive the car to this event again anyway. I haven't taken the car in about 11 years. If the car runs good with this turbo then I'll be packin a TE 44 with less than 400 miles on it for sale ($575), some new and used hoses that I have left from all the previous install projects for sale.
Some other stuff for sale too. If I'm in the Camry though, probably will leave the parts at home as no one will be snooping around it to see the stuff for sale.
Can't wait, Hoping for good weather.:cool1:

Same with me for the weather!

Rain = Daily Driver 98 Chevy Pick up

Sunny = Gonna drive the GN on down! Some day when I get a trailer I'll bring the TTA. :teehee:

Jason you can stay for free in my room! I should only have about 20 people in there at the rate it's going! :chat: :chat: :chat:

how far is kentucky from you??? dosent seem too far....
650 miles...not a bad drive once you get around St. Louis. Usually takes about 10 hours with 2 or 3 stops. All highway. Wish my parents wouldnt have moved from BG...

Jason

Almost here!! I'm leaving 5am Tuesday morning! Should be there by 6 or 7pm. I think I'm gonna drive the GN! Might cost to much in fuel for my daily gas pig!!
