i have been wanting to get 17s for my TTA but all the wheels i like cost $500+ each! i was thinking 17X8.5 or 17X9 front and 17X9 or 9.5 rear. any suggestions?

thanks,

Good luck,...most of the contemperary design are going to be full positive off-set wheels. You have three choices,...go with a traditional RWD wheel. Use adapters,...I wouldn't recommend this on any performance vehicle,..at least on the rear. Last, I seen a guy with a 91 Camaro,....needed a new rear,...so when he ordered it, he ordered the width of a 4-gen car,...a little wider, so now he can run the 17x9 SS wheels. The rears bolt up fine so he only has to run adapters on the front. Much safer. I was looking at the Niche Pultecs personally. 17x8's and 17x9's. The do make them in the correct offset also,...but they are pricey.

Thanks Robert,
Thats the same situation i keep running into, most new wheels are made for the 4th gen cars. i dont want to use spacers either. i like the 'dish' look better anyway. on my previous TA i used 16x9 centerlines with 5" backspacing. worked great but is kinda dated now. i guess i'll eventually have to pay up for custom wheels like the fikse or something. i'm not familir with the niche wheels.
i also have a ford 9" that i used on my other TA sitting in storage.
