Anyone tried the Wells Headlight Switch?

Just amazed at the low cost for one of these aftermarket (and correct for our cars) headlight switches, anyone got one and can comment on quality and looks in general? Not that I need one (yep you guesst it got a couple NOS already) but would be interesting to know how good or bad they are ... can't beat the price that's for sure.

WELLS SW235 Switch, Headlight | eBay

I dunno...that "grey" looks to be a couple shades off the original.DontKnow:

Looks good Mike, thanks for letting us know. Is the grey color the same as the OEM switch you replaced?

Also seen (on ebay) that same Wells switch but instead of "OFF" it says "LIGHTS OFF" which is not OEM ... so double check if anyone plans to order one.

First I needed a new switch, the old switch was the problem when I turned the lights on the buckets would stay up, you had to manually turn the knobs to lower the light buckets. The new switch corrected that problem. I could have tried to clean the contacts in the old switch, but you could hardly read the writing on the old one, it was old and worn out.

As far as the writing or the markings, it is identical to the delco remy orig one. The "OFF" is marked on the new one. It may be a little brighter in the grey on the new switch, but I hadn't really paid much attention to that. It looks good and performs well and was cheap price.

Jan, Modern Day Muscle has a GM one that says LIGHT OFF:
It has no grey in this one.

Yep seen those and the early reproductions where also all black (like the 82-84 Firebirds used) and all had "LIGHT OFF" instead of just OFF like the GM OEM switches that came in the cars.

The Wells one you got is correct and same as the one I linked to on ebay BUT I also seen the same one (Wells) with "LIGHT OFF" on them (see Wells SW235 Headlight Switch FIREBIRD TRANS AM | eBay) so there's two versions from Wells looks like (correct grey for our cars, used 85-92) and the one to get to be correct should say just "OFF" or you would get points off in any show lol
