And would like to do a trip to the Indy museum and pick out some photos from the parade laps etc??

Apparently on the second floor (Ron correct me if I'm wrong) they keep all the photos taken at each years race and there's 100's of them from the 73rd race with our TTA's ... and you can pick and choose and order copies of them ...

Would be cool if someone would have the time to go there and pick out some really good once for me (us) .... I would be happy to scan them and make them avalible pending copyright of course ;)

Let me know and we can work something out !!!!

See this thread for what you can expect to find there :-)
Anyone got the original or high res scan to share? - Turbo Trans Am Forum

I'm about 3 hours from Indy right now and during the school year I'm about an hour. If I make my way down there any time soon I'll let you know Jan. I knew about the photo room, I believe you just have to ask and they'll take you up there at the museum. There's supposed to be a lot of photos up there, never been in there though.

Jared, that would be great if you could ... plan to spend a number of hours there as I understand there's tons of photo albums to go through from 1989 :-) But well worth it as there's some really really good photos from the parade etc that would be so cool to display with our cars.

I'm in Indy right now, was at the museum today with #124 :)

I went to the second floor to look at the pics, there is alot there - too much for me to look through right now with everything else I got going on, not to mention it can get expensive to get a bunch of pics from them.

Nice pic Steve! Did you chase everyone away so you didn't have any tourists in the background?

Everybody was really cool with me while I was geting some pics, they even moved the three tour buses they had parked in front for me so I could get a clean shot :)

I'm sorry Jan, if I had known you wanted some I would have picked them up while i was there but dont plan on going back to the museum. I need to get some rest and head up to Madison for the start of the Power Tour. But it's definatly a place for Indy fans to check out, lots of cool stuff on display and really nice people.

Here's one for you collectors, anybody have one of these?

No prob. Steve ... I'm counting on Jared :-)

That is a cool model of Emos Indy car .... what scale is it and do they sell them ??? I would love a 1:18 scale model of Emo's indy car to display next to the TTA pace car!!!

Enjoy the Power Tour and make sure to take plenty of pics for us!!
