Hi Jeff!
In regards to your post on that website, I would tend to agree with almost all of them. However, I think the 20th TTA might be more popular that the 10th TA. Mainly in the fact that most of the 10th TAs were the garden varity 403 Olds powered versions. I just can't see many people buying these over wanting to get a 20th TTA. I wouldn't! I would much rather get another 20th TTA! I do feel that the '69 TA would be my first choice! But, the 20th TTA would be my second choice! I do love the 30th TA probably next, but that's because I want the LS-1 over the traditional Pontiac 400 engined '79 10th TA!
Like you, I would like to own every Anniversary Trans Am! Uhh....really though, one of every year Trans Am! Wouldn't you? Ha!
One thing about your post over there though, why even list the 2002 Collectors Edition? It's not a Anniversary Trans Am. To me, alot of other cars could have been added...'80 Indy TTA, '81 NASCAR TTA, '83 Daytona TA.... etc.
Anyway, just posting my opinion!

Have fun,

George

I can't get to the forum you posted, says not avail...anyway, I'm currently looking for nice low mile '79 10th anniv. TA with the 400 and a stick. I currently have a black '79 TA that needs some paint, but I get more complements on that car everywhere I drive it, more than any other car I have, its a pure pleasure to drive. Even though its the Olds 403 with 50 less hp than the 235hp 400, its still got some power. Not near as fast as either turbo car, but everyone recognizes it. Face it, not many average joes even know what my TTA is. And I like the silver leather int. of the '79 10th and I currently don't own a car with a stick!!

I too cannot view it. says they are updating hardware so it's unavailable. being that there were over twice as many 79's out there, it stands to reason there would be more people out there who like them. I have a buddy that has about 6 of them as well as about 4 80 pace cars and 3 or 4 81 pace cars and half a dozen bandit type cars. He still drools over my 20th's when we are together. I'd personally like to have one of each but the third gen's are where my desires lay.

I have an '81 turbo that has the same color interior as the 10th ann that I plan on one day swaping in a GN drivetrain and painting to match the 10th with a turbo hood. Should make some people go "huh????".
