? About the rims?

On my TTA the rims are painted silver and appears the be factory- Q? Are they supposed to be polished- as most I see Look? Or did they come painted silver( almost like a Platinum) ?
I like the polished look I guess I will have to have the paint removed.

I believe they are clear coated when new. Some people remove the clear coat and polish the aluminum. The problem with that is that unless it is coated again, they will oxidize over time and require periodic re-polishing.
