#677 dead

That is an unbelievable nightmare ... this guy "stealthy" is going to be messed up and he has two girls? Ugh ...

What town was this in? Was it Phoenix?

Damn that really sucks. From doing a search it looks like he just bought the car about a month ago too. That'll teach you not to run, just pony up and take the consequences if you're going to be doing something illegal. I'll have to read the full thread later and get all the details about it.

Oh that was the car that was really souped up! Wow ... what a shame. A real shame and a tragedy if his family loses him to an extended period in jail.

If they're gonna auction that car off I wonder how I can find out?

No sympathy here for that guy from me. After reading that thread, it turns out this "stealthy" guy had a suspended license and even tried to flee once he was T-boned and the car came to a stop - not to mention a LONG rap sheet which includes being on probation.

Too bad he wasn't thinking about his family when he decided to do what he did - that's the ONLY tragedy here.

He's going to the big house - and deservedly so.

I'm currently talking with a Las Vegas PD officer (Turbobuick member as well) who is getting some info on it as I type. There was talk of forfeiture and an auction but its still up in the air.

Let me know (or us!) if there's info on an auction of the car. Like others I would be interested. The car engine was really customized but there seems to be lots of TTA exclusive parts there that should be saved.

As far as sympathy goes ... I agree that what he did was stupid, wrong, and he deserves to pay a stiff price. However, I've done lots of stupid driving back in the day, 80 mph driving drunk down an 8 mile stretch in Brooklyn NY passing through red lights the whole way ... man when I think of how stupid I was all I can say is "there but for the grace of God ..."

I have sympathy for the family ... and yes even for him. I truly hope and pray that through this his life will be straightened out and that SOMEHOW his wife and kids will not be left dangling.

WOW, It sucks hearing things like this. The thread for #677 is still here in the for sale section, from a couple weeks ago. I more so feel bad about the car, just being one more less of an already limited amount built to begin with. Does anybody think it would be parted out now?

Street race, but do it away from everyone else and know where the road ends and that no one is around... also not running once the car stopped would a been a better angle. That sucks.

Ok, as most of you know, I had a very bad night about a month ago. I'm here to clear up a few things.

1. I made a series of VERY VERY stupid mistakes. I, more than anyone feel horrible about what happened. It wasn't planned, and I was being stupid. I have thanked God every day that the guy in the SUV is alive. I'm ok as well, physically.

2. The guy in the SUV DID go to the hospital, then was booked into 4th ave for warrants. He claimed to have broken ribs, but that is false. He was not hurt beyond some bumps and bruises, again THANK GOD!

3. I am facing several charges, and I have kicked myself in the ass every second since this ordeal happened. Not just for the charges, but for the stupidity. I was very dumb that night, and I can only attribute it to adrenaline. I blame nobody, and I know how fucking stupid I was being.

4. The reason I was trying so hard to sell that TTA was because I wanted to clear up the fines and BS that was holding my license, so that I could avoid this situation entirely. Now I'll be parting it out.

5. I rarely do what I did at all, and this time was just one of those impromptu times. I don't blame the cops for doing their jobs, I even told them the same thing THAT night. However, the helicopter was about 15-20 feet over my head, and shining the spotlight in my face, which is the reasoning for rolling the red light. I still did it though, and I should've just stopped.

6. NO, I didn't put my little girls first, and that has kept me up in tears for several days an nights over the last month. I can't believe what I did, and am so thankful that it wasn't worse.

7. I can't apologize to the guy, because I'm not allowed to contact him. But if somehow he were to see this, I am so very sorry. All I can ask is that you forgive me, I'm human, and made a very dumb mistake.

8. I know I don't owe anyone here an explanation, or an apology, but I think I do.
I am sorry for the impact on our scene that my actions have attributed to. Again, all I can do is ask that you all accept my apology, and forgive me.

I have decided to step out of the car scene almost completely. No more driving at all for me until I get my issues cleared up. I say almost completely because it's been such a big part of my life, as have a lot of you, that I can't just walk away cold turkey. There will be NO MORE STREET EVENTS AT ALL for me, and I urge all of you to heed my warning, it isn't worth it. This was the worst experience for me. The thought of losing my family, my kids, my life, all over the street scene. I know some of you will post up that I'm an idiot, dumbass, etc... I know. I feel [----] big, and I did deserve what I went through, but my kids didn't. I feel like complete shit.

Anyways, I just thought I should clear up a few things. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Thank you Stealthy!! Hope you get your situation straightened up, and that you use this as a life lesson.

We've all made mistakes in our lives, and done things we wished we hadn't.....the main thing is that we learn from them, and not return to the same type of actions that got us into the trouble to begin with.

92conv put it very well, I hope you all the best. I hope your situation gets cleared up soon for your sake and your family. We all make mistakes and do dumb things especially in high adrenaline circumstance. No more looking back, look forward and try to get better. Good luck with everything.

We all do stupid mistakes in life, just some are more bigger than what others may/might end up doing.
Even I have made big mistakes.
In the end, you man up (as you are doing), take the punishment, and continue where you want to from there.
No need to apologize to us.
You have to do it everyday to your family, espically your kids, as well as the other guy, and the courts.
I hope things work out for you and your family (and the other guy as well).

Good luck,

George :beach:
