:wall:snapped a tooth off the ring gear, rear end was reallty quite too, any help would be appreciated

When I chunked a couple teeth off the pinion I spent over $700 to get it fixed and set up properly....I've been cringing on every launch since.

I decided not to wait for the 9 bolt to grenade, again, and I bought a Strange 12 bolt.

Lol I feel ya , just built it for my girl , so I doubt
She will be launching it , however when I drive it
Will be a different story , are there any direct bolt in replacements ?

Well, you have to consider that there is some proprietary stuff there. After all they cast the center section with the torque arm provision. Then add bigger axle tubes, much better axles with no C-clip.Better carrier, better ring and pinion. That stuff adds up quick. You could spend $1000 beefing up your 9 bolt with 7.75" ring gear and it still wouldn't be stronger than a GM 10 bolt with 8.5" ring gear.

Here you've got options for a much stronger rear end than the 8.5"...hell the super strength eaton carrier runs around $550 alone.

But a cruiser TTA would never need anything more. A racing one will.
