2011 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Reunion! Hebron, Ohio 7/30/2011

Great news Nick and PhillyD!

Nope George the cat is out of the bag. I still have another special guest I didn't release yet but soon! :D Your gonna need to haul that TTA on out to Ohio George! :)

Jim for the event do we need to register for BPG Nationals, buy tickets at the gate, we have our own registration and tickets or? How will this work with the Buick guys?

You can buy tickets at the gate when you get there for the weekend. You can also do a pre-order for tickets. They deal will pop up sometime after the start of the year. I believe they are going to rework the ticket prices some so hang in there and see what happens. It's also cheaper if your a BPG member. Good club to join you actually get a nice newsletter several times a year! :)

Do you know roughly how much it will be per person for all weekend (3 days) ?? There's 4 of us

At this years prices, $300.

They are changing the pricing structure of next year's event so do not go by that price. As time gets closer we will post the fee's when the BPG takes a vote on the prices of admission sometime after the first of the year.

I am driving from CA to ND to MN to WI to OH.....
One month vacation and visiting friends along the way I haven't seen since 1974.

wow now that is badass! Talk about enjoying your TTA! I can't wait to hear about the entire trip out when you get there! Looks like we might have a furthest driven to the event award winner already!

And some of you guys thought it was far trip!

It will be CD's, Deep Purple, Deep Purple and Deep Purple.
Some; Head East, Uriah Heep, Oingo Bongo, UFO, Dr. Hook, Foghat and other '70s tunes.........

The 200R4 blew the pump on Saturday so with AAA I had it towed 100 miles to Bowtie Overdrives in Hesperia, CA for their Level 3 with a 2800 stall. They just did my 25th with a Level 3 just 3 weeks ago and I have been very happy with their work.

I am working with Nick Micale at ArizonaGN in Phoenix for a rebuild in March 2011.

So I should be good to go...........by July...........
Oh and did I mention I'll be listening mostly to Deep Purple.......

make sure you bring some pain killers for your back after riding in the TTA that long. It really starts to get uncomfortable around the 3-4 hour mark. I'd suggest some extra padding for the seats.

Take a lot of pictures, sounds like a badass trip. I hope to do something similar but in reverse at some point (in a daily driver).

I have the seats covered just not recovered.
I have driven my DT500's and 15th's with the Recaro's on trips to and from ND and they are really comfortable. The stock TTA seats are very uncomfortable as are the ones in my 25th. Driving the 20th from Silvio's to CA was very uncomfortable. I use a piece of foam to sit on in my 20th, 25th and Miata on trips over 150 miles.

I am used to taking photos on trips and will try to document the trip. I want to get a HD170 Helmet Cam for the dash and take some cool videos....

I got a set of seats similar to that for the new bird. Dropped them off yesterday. :beee:

Ouch if it's $300 a head to get in (I'm not brining my car) ... I might reconcider to be honest ... it better be $100 for all four of us tops ...

Can someone tell me how much it did cost this year for all 3 days per person if you showed up without your car so just a normal visitor to the event please ... I need to book flights but spending over $1000 in entrence fees that is not on for me.

I just told you...

$25 a head. So $300 for your family for all 3 days. Last year (and forever) it was $20. So $240 at $20 pricing.

Did you get the BPG rate when you booked yours? I think they had a allocation of rooms @ $75 ... anyway I got my room for 105 and 155 over the weekend ... (per night that is) ....

I just reserved a room with two queen beds for 90/night also. I forgot to ask if it was smoking or not, or well. I told her I was there for the buick trans am event, but she did not mention any discount.
