Wow took my 89 tta to the drag strip for the first time! Was pretty pleased, through the cat on pump gas with turbo tweak street chip and street tires turned 13.20. Uncapped it and it went 12.97. Especially after watching a mustang with 4:10 gears, drag radials and a super charger with a best time of 12.90's.

What year mustang was it-and mods? Are you going on Tuesday nights? how long is the wait to make a pass? I wish I could get out of work to make a pass in the coming cooler weather.:cheers:
 
It was probably an 08 or newer 4.6 GT auto with 4:10 gears a roush super charger and some kind of drag radials. Tuesday night test and tune @ beech bend temperature was not bad but still pretty humid, thre really was not any waiting, just let your car cool a few minutes and go right back to running!:burnrubber:
 
when I got my TTA home, did all the flushing and tuning up as the car was VERY original, plugs fluids all that. Anyway, bone stock she ran a 13.4 at 101mph, now our air here in Calgary is crap !! we are 3300 feet, but our air can be as bad as 4500+ feet. I now have a fuel pump hot wire kits installed, turbo tweak chip, 42# injectors and alky injection, and the best I have run is 12.90 @ 108, I would love to try a track that is MILES closer to sea level !! But it's still a ton of fun, not alot of people here know what these cars are, so when you run a 12.90 pass here, you suddenly have a ton of people asking about your car !! I have thought about running it at Edmonton, but Jarrod has that one all locked up !! LOl just kidding !!
 
Rob, come up to Castrol anytime you like, I go to track rentals a few times a summer as well, that's really fun, no waiting!!! Would be great to have another tta guy out, fast231 does make to many appearances. I am always up for the track!!
