Tony,

I am about to offer my 89 TTA car # 420 (T-tops & leather seats) for sale as I am thinking about downsizing my car collection due to running out of storage space. I believe this car is likely the cleanest, original, dead-stock unmolested 89 TTA in existence outside of a museum car. I am the second owner, the car has 597 original miles and is essentially a brand-new car with everything working and driving perfectly. It has all documentation, owner history, window sticker, owner's manual and owner's box kit. I will be listing it in Hemming's Motor News in the next few days at $44,900 or best offer. The car is located at my home in Orlando, Florida. Jerry Kircher 240-535-9806

Hi Jerry, thank you.

I sent you a PM with my thoughts on cars like yours, value and a cash today buy offer range. Cars like yours are for collecting more that driving as I'm sure you are aware. I posted this ad at 10,000 miles or less because I would like to find a car that I could drive some and not change the value too much. Once your car is driven a bit and climes up toward 1,000 miles the value changes by a good amount. Actually, to some people, once you drive it around the block twice and it hits 600 miles there is a price drop from being able to say "my 500 mile car"

Thank you again for making me aware of your car and please keep me in mind.

Tony

Impartial observer here and I don't mean to hijack the thread, but it seems your festival car would/should have been worth more than this one, yet you are asking $10k more on this one. Just curious why, or how you determined your asking price to be so much more for this one?

I believe I listed my Festival car way too low in hindsight...as a collector from Illinois purchased the car at my asking price of $34,900 with no dickering at all on price. I probably should have asked much higher than I did for the Festival car....should have been north of $40,000 in hindsight. While the Festival car had lower miles, it was not as clean as my current car.....at some point in it's life it sat outside for a period of time and was exposed to the weather...plus rear spoiler had multiple cracks in it...no window sticker and no owners kit.. My car #420 has been garage kept it's entire life...never been in the rain...and even smells new. Jerry
