I Wanted To Drive My TTA This Holiday, But!

I got the TTA out of the garage and wanted to drive it this Labor Day. As soon as I parked it the LOVE BUGS were all over it. I know these bugs are down here in FLA to kills the mosquitos.

Could not drive it much because the front of the car would be covered with these things. I suppose I will have to wait for a bug free day.:beach:
 
Never heard of those Mike. It does seem bugs in general are drawn to white cars.

I also noticed at a few shows I was at this summer, that TICKS like yellow cars. They were all over the yellow cars but not on any others. Weird.

Keep her in the garage and clean till they go away.
 
I could imagine how bad it must be riding a motorcycle with those things in the air, well you better keep your mouth closed.:beee:

Mike I should've taken some pics today then. I was working on #77, finishing some details, and man they were all over the TTA, but not on the SRT-4. They do love white, and you and me know they are not easy to clean off when they bake in the FL sun!
 
Have not had many of my cars out due to road construction right in front of my place & an over zealous water truck. The mud has been brutal ! Don't know what it's like in the U.S., but up here road work is painfully slow. They have been at it since early July & the road has been removed for the last two weeks. Supposed to start paving next week. :toot:

Black flies are back out here over the last few days, kinda wierd.

Notice while our boat was parked at the little island on the lake that there are some curious looking bugs all over the part of the boats that have white on them and they are only on the white spots.
