Any hardtop owners out there in the market to sell?

Prefer cloth. Not necesarily looking for a museum-quality car, but would like lower mileage, original, and well-maintained.

Hey, if someone can go through the trouble to make a convertible after the fact, then it should be simple to make a hardtop. ;o)
 
It's a 6,000 mile hardtop/leather car.

Has some Scott Kelly/PAS "special" documentation.

Will post some pics when I get the car...post transport. All original and very clean. Presently in California.
 
Is it the car with the white door handles? That was Scott's personal car, if that is the one you bought.
 
Yes, it has the white door handles, lacks turbo side emblems, and has a polished piece or two in the engine bay.

Last time a saw white door handles was on eBay about three years ago. Chris K.'s car at the reunion didn't have fender emblems and it looked really sharp. If I could install white handles I would for sure, just can't find them anywhere.
 
Ya I should do that! I'm fixin up tta 733 and 365 at the moment, took the fender emblems off 733, looks good, but my paint is not as nice as Chris K.'s car. Still looks good though.

Those cars came from the factory with the white handles and it is the same color as our cars. I thought the 15th anniversary T/A was a polar white, where as our cars are more of a cream white.

I think the gen 4 went to the polar white, but I could be wrong. I know my brother got a set back in 1990 from the GM parts department and I am almost sure they were from the 15th. I can't find the part number, but it would be interesting if someone still has them sitting on a shelf somewhere hiding in a parts department. :)
 
I took possession of the car Friday.

Very clean, and those white dor handles are a cool touch.:cheers:

Congratulations on getting a hardtop car...

How did you find the car? What was the asking price? I am ready to buy a hardtop now, too. I am curious what they are worth. A few months ago, a couple sold for about $18-20k. I was surprise at the lowness of the prices, and also surprised how long it took to sell them. I would have bought one if I could have at that time, even though they were high mileage (60k).

I am not sure, but I seem to remember this particular white handle Scott Kelly car selling on ebay some years ago for $37k. But I could be mistaken about that price.

Any pricing info on hardtops is appreciated, as well as any leads to finding one for sale. I will consider the high mileage cars (60k miles) but prefer something under 30k, and preferably under 10k miles. They are very hard to value at the moment. Any clues as to recent (last 3-4 years) sale prices is appreciated.
