Console Light Assembly

I need a console light assembly, this is the light that comes on when you raise the console lid.

This assy. is attached to the upper console, I need the switch and all that is needed to be pluged in.

Mine got broke when I took the top console off to repair my ashtray lid.

I think this is the 91/92 look as it just got a pointy pin sticking up as ours are more the "mushroom style" cap on there ..

Where did yours brake? They do come apart fairly easily ...

Mine did work somewhat. It was pretty fragile and it fell apart. I did not try to put it back together with it. I took it off and decided to get a new assembly.

It only worked part of the time I opened my console lid.

The one one ebay looks like what I need. Thanks for the research.


By the way I took the ashtray lid off another console top I found on ebay.
The console lid off ebay was in good shape except it did not have power mirror controls. Took the ashtray lid and put it on my original one and it worked great.:cool1:
 
Yep those switches aren't the best I must say ... I fiddled with mine at some point as it didn't work all the time ...

Done the ashtray lid swap on my current console as well ... glad you got yours sorted !
 
I ordered the 2nd one.

I also replaced my ashtray with a used one that had been media blasted, it almost looked new.
I got the ashtray from moderndaymuscle.com:beach:
