Officially a New TTA Owner

I can officially now say, I'm a TTA owner, I just received the info from PHS & its #591. T-top, Leather, Pace car decals on the doors/windshield, 43K miles, I'll take some good pictures after I wash it this weekend. :headbang:

Con grats Jason ... can you confirm your VIN ends with 240598 please so I can make a note that 591 been confirmed by PHS as this helps me work out the missing pieces in the VIN list.

Also would you mind sharing the build dates you find on the driver door PAS sticker ... there's the GM build date (month/year) and the PAS build date (again month/year). This helps trying to get a full picture of the dates the TTAs were built at GM and PAS ... first ones were in Dec 88 (excluding any pilots) and last one from PAS looks like May 89 ...
 
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, its a great feeling owning a piece of automotive history. I think 20 years from now these cars will be untouchable for the rarity, price & what they offer, for a special muscle car. Pictures will be up soon, thanks again.

Hi Jan,
Its confirmed by PHS last 6 of the vin is 240598 & its #591. The build dates in the door from G.M & PAS are both 2/89.

In the black box owners kit I received also, it contained the original window sticker w/a typed letter w/the vin number, from the dealer Slocum Pontiac in Wisconsin to the original owner. On it was written in pen stating this was car#606 by PAS Inc w/there phone numbers next to it, but PHS just confirmed it as #591.

Also in the kit was an old build sheet, as I was looking at it, I noticed it had a different vin number than mine. it was 1G5FW2178KL251910, witch by your vin list is #1512. Why I have it, I have no clue, did they mix build sheets up at PAS? Were are the build sheets normally located in the TTA's?
The only item missing in the black box I received is the key chain,
(If anybody has an extra one, they would like to sell, please let me know).

For the build sheets you can read this post Build sheets and assembly line work sheets - Info - Turbo Trans Am Forum

The buildsheets I beleive PAS kept for possibly warranty issues ... the assembly worksheets (there were at least 5 different ones for each car built) could been left in the car (if you are lucky) and it could be any of the 5 (or more) used to assemble your TTA, however the line workers could have just binned them put them in another car .... who knows really. The one you got with a different VIN probabrly ended up there by accident however given the big difference in build date possibly a previous owner could have got it from somewhere??

Could post of readable photo of #1512 build sheet you have and I can let you know a bit more in detail what that one is all about.
