Ughhhhh $103.78 to fill up my tank...

I even got my moped out and have started driving it where I can. Should help a little bit.

theres a little honda scooter that gets 100mpg that would be great to and from work if they werent so dangerous.

I got this when I was 13. I drove it everyday except snowy days and hard downpours. Put 3600 miles on it my 8th and 9th grade years. Parked it and set the battery tender on it. Drove it once a month just to keep it lubed. 49cc's of Yamaha two stroke fury. :furious: Haha max speed of low 40's.

Paid $1899 plus taxes back in 2004. Then they banned two strokes in 2005 and discontinued the Zuma. They brought it back this year choked down with emissions and that makes my scoot worth so much more. I was offered $1500 yesterday on the spot for it actually. I think I'll keep it. It's been an awesome scooter. Looks brand new except for one scratch on the drivers side fender that was there at the dealer..
 
Drove it 28 miles today actually. Its fun to ride I just feel like a douche on one but I really don't care what others think.

Aright gimme some time. My scootin attire is sandals, shorts, and a tshirt with my full racing helmet.

I only do full helmets..my face is worth too much. :fuckkk:
 
I wanna see a wheelie on that thing! You might have to have someone hang off the back to get the front wheel up. :yes: Or at least do a surfer pose on the seat and handlebars.

A scooter or motocycle would be fun. I have lots of friends who ride but I wouldn't get on public roads with one. Not that I don't trust myself it's the general public around you that I'd be worried about.

And I think Jason wears a full face helmet to hide his shame of embarrasment! :WOOT::clap: Just messin' with ya!
 
That seat almost looks like it has a spot for a passenger. Does that work well for picking up chics? I'd consider a motorcycle but by the time I was done screwing with it the bike would probably end up using more than the car. I love Honda Valkyries but I think they get about 30mpg. Doesn't save much.

I gave up on the fuel prices. It's $4.05 here and I saw it as high as $4.49 yesterday. Killing my monthly budget that's for sure. I'm thinking on bailing out from the Ohio event at this rate. :angry: I hope that vice president of ours catches his balls on a rusty nail and dies a slow death! :furious:

Some weeks I'll do over 300 miles a week going to work and running around the city. With my truck that was about $150 to $200 a week if not more. So I threw in the towel a few weeks ago and bought this...

97 Accord EX. Little old lady in the country had it. Her husband gave me a huge box of receipts for the car. They just inspected it because she didn't want to sell the car knowing something was wrong with it! That's something you don't hear every day. 116K garage kept miles. New timing belt and they replaced just about anything that would ever go wrong with it. Vtec 4cyl and you can't even hear it running. I'm getting about 33mpg with it. I went from $150-$200 a week to $50 every week or I've even got it 2 weeks for that. My truck sits parked and hasn't moved since I bought the Honda. I got the Honda for 3K off craigslist. I dropped the full coverage insurance on my truck and added the Honda and it only went up 100 a year so I'm even with another car and saving on fuel so I guess it works out :) I hate driving a car again as I like to be in a truck but what can you do! :furious:
 
Thank God for my company car!!! I only have to put gas in the TTA and my Yukon XL. MY wife and I only put 5-6k on the yukon a year, but 4.27 a gallon yesterday for regular sucks!!! I just had 150 galons of fuel oil delivered for the oil burner(thats all I could afford) $650.00. I use about 900 galons a year. Speculation trading should be outlawed!!!!!:cry:

That sounds like my truck! In the winter I check and found 7.8 MPG. Of course that includes some snow plowing and some warm up time. On the highway I get 10.5 MPG empty or 9.5 towing a car trailer fully loaded at 80 mph. I love my truck and won't consider selling it but I must admit it has been collecting dust lately. When I need a truck I really want it to perform and my 496 cid is worth every penny.
 
well crude oil is at $121.89/barrel right now, so things are looking better than they were back when it was $145. i read if it drops below $120 then it would be very easy to slide to $100. im hoping that is what happens over the next week or 2.
