I thought there would be another one in Switzerland .... congrats to your new ride!!! Used to be two in Switzerland that I been aware of, 1 sold to Austria a number of years back and was just sold earlier this year to Germany making probabrly 2 or possibly 3 in Germany. There's 1 in France, 6 here in the UK and another 6 in Sweden. Might be 1 or 2 more somewhere in Europe but not sure.

Post some more photos when you have time.

Looks nice and clean, enjoy!!!

The second Swiss TTA as I mentioned was sold to Austria and then this year sold to Germany, current owner is on this board (screenname fast400) so he might chime in as I don't have the VIN.

I've been in the game too long so got a good feel for the cars in Europe, I know pretty much all owners in Sweden (except 1) and in the UK (except 1) the car in France been on e-bay.fr once and I've been told it exists by several 3rd gen owners in France. There's a wrecked TTA in Germany that fell off a truck I beleive and the owner opted to transplant all the TTA stuff into a white GTA hardtop instead of getting the wrecked TTA fixed. And there is another German t-top/leather TTA I've seen photos of from one of the many car shows over there.

Maybe we should start a European TTA site :-)

interesting idea:read:

i bought mine from a person, who wanted to export it from switzerland to finnland, but it was for my luck for him to expensive. so he wanted to sell the car as soon as possible.

Hi Swiss-TTA,
Mine is the second Swiss TTA! It was sold to Austria 4 years ago, then I recently bought it a couple of months ago. I'm in Germany. It had the ugly cut-outs in the bumper identical to yours!! The Austrian owner replaced the cut-up nose with a new nose (thankfully!).
Does your's have the German speedo in KM/H's? Mine was imported to Switzerland new in 1990. Do you have the owner's kit?
Bob

Hello Bob
The cut-outs in the bumper are obligatory in Switzerland :disgust:. I have a speedo with km/h and miles. No owner's kit, but some sort of documentation of previous owners and kilometers.

Here is car 1240.

I thought I had already posted some pics to this thread but I guess not.

This is mine, #670, 201K miles, currently getting a new engine. Should be back on the road by the end of June. Enjoy!

I pay for the house on June 11th but the car will have to wait until I am finished at Pt Mugu at the end of September. Maybe Labor Day weekend???
