TTA's on ebay

Nice Hardtop.
Would love to have it.
I asked for a copy of his documentation.
Love the one off's.

Didn's Scott Kelley (PAS INc) have one with white door handles? Not sure if it was a hardtop or not. But considering the documentation this is defentilty something that would only been in the file and kept by PAS .... I would love to see good copies of all the docs.

So having looked at all the photos and the documentation (well part of it he posted) it is Scott's TTA ... special order ... cool photos from the assembly line at Van Nuys ... and I beleive 2 of the photos are outside of PAS on Jepperson Drive City of Industry as I recognize the building (back side on the side) from when I stopped to have a look a number of years back ...

Must be one of the best documented TTAs out there ... even got all the assembly wokrsheets I'm after (I got 4 of them reproduced but would love copies of the other 2 I'm missing) and the buildsheet etc.

I was going to say Scott Kelley's as well.
I almost bought the car back in late '89 to early '90, but I didn't want it for all the chrome underneath.
And back then, not many people wanted a hardtop.
Now they do.

Simo,
Is the Hardtop yours?
Bob

Carfax can make mistakes. A few years ago when I had my car inspected the guy put 81,000 miles on the sheet, and it should have been 8,100. I did not see the mistake untill a few days later. So my car would probably come up as a 81,000 on carfax and not the 8,2xx thats actualy on it.

Absolutely understood. I emailed the guy yesterday to give him the benefit of the doubt. Haven't heard back yet.

I did get a response from him.

The guy I got it from says they are actual and gave me some more contact info on previous owner's - I went on carfax and something is wrong! I'm still investigating, thanks - I'll keep you posted.

Simo, did you manage to get a copy of the documentation from him on Scott's old hardtop??? I asked as well but got nothing more than what he already posted on webshots .... I would love copies of those 6 assembly line worksheets as I only got 3 really good ones for the TTA I already reproduced the 4th one I do have but not in really high resolution so can't read all of the small print, the 5th one I only got for other 3rd Gen's so not 100% sure what the TTA one contains and a 6th one I never ever seen so far ....

Got the build sheet info I need to reproduce that one just need to get started ....

So if you did manage to get any copies from the owner and like to share let me know and we can at some point get a complete set of all documents reproduced for out cars ....

Not sure if the car sold or not as he pulled the auction early ... someone on here bought it??

hmmm wonder if its possible to track down the new owner and see if he's willing to share a piece of the history ... I think that might be one of very few cars with all those documents still intact .....
