Tie down straps for TTA

I am renting a car trailer for the reunion. Where is a good place to buy tie down straps for the Turbo TA? Thanks

You can get them at a lot of places, auto parts stores or hardware stores will probably be the easiest.

Something that you're going to need to consider is the ramp angle when loading the car. There's too things you can do if the front bumper looks like it's going to scrape; raise the front of the trailer up with the trailer jack (after it's already been hooked up and locked onto the tow vehicle) or you can get some 2x6s and put them under the end of the ramps to reduce ramp angle.

Once you get the car up on the trailer make sure it's centered over the axles of the trailer, not pulled all the way forward. When strapping it down there's a hole in the rear subframe on each side that you can put hooks up into, on the front I always hooked to the hole in the lower control arms. The lower control arms aren't ideal because you want to load the suspension so the car isn't bouncing and moving on the trailer but I've never really found anything better.

Here is where I tie mine down. Might help out some of you all. I always criss cross the rears.

That will work, or you can get the wheel straps that go around the tires if you have holes in the deck of your trailer. These are rachet straps.

I'd rather not have the car bounce around while towing. I have towed with straps around the tires and it felt insecure to me.

Just personal preference. Tire straps are A LOT easier to use though.

Got my ratchet tie downs from summit 10k lb rating 36.95 each .. and I always cross the rear straps also.
