Third Gen Fest Tomorrow in Crete IL???

Anyone else going to the annual Mullet fest in Crete, IL? It is a great time to meet other third gen owners both trans ams and cameros. I have had a blast the last two years there. The first year I twisted my wife's arm to drive BADCARR and took RAYDER even though it was a long way from being finished. Last year me and Mike met there and had a great time. :cheers:

If anyone is going and would like to meet up to caravan along the way, let me know.

Weather was fine till the end. It was overcast and in the 60's, but of course started drizzling at the end. Put a damper on the customary burn outs as everyone leaves. :burnrubber:
Not as many attended as last year. The person that traveled the farthest was from Minnesota.

I took 2nd place again for stock firebird. The first place and winner of the stock firedbird class was also the best in show and well deserved. It was a 1989 Maroon GTA Convertible with a khaki top and beachwood interior. The car had 46k Mileage on it and the paint was still original but the outside, inside, and engine bay were in mint condition... I would say 9 out of 10 on all aspects. Well Deserved.



It was a great show again though, 80's rock on, great food, and great people that love to talk about their third gens. Great day and I recommend it. Nice pics. I've seen this festival on the YouTubes before. Some burnouts have gotten pretty hairy. It was rainy in the vids too. Nice vert that won.
 
Congrats on your 2nd place with RAYDER. Flame Red GTA vert is VERY nice. I saw your burnout when leaving on youtube. Your car looks good with the black rims. It always seems to rain when they have that show.:(

I am not proud of the burn out. It was raining and I couldn't get any traction. Car looks good though and everyone really seemed to enjoy seeing it... here is the video

I noticed the headlights too. Looks like led's or modified hid's. I didn't notice them till the video either, or I would have asked him about them.
