Strobie and BADCARR make an appearance at Third Gen Fest yesterday. What an awesome day for some 80's flashback's, Lot's a Iroc's, a few gta's and trans ams, convertible trans am's and a couple formula's....and even a GN drove by and stopped in to see what all the fuss was about.... 80's music, mullets, and burn outs....and hardware... AND some maintenance done... someone looking at my engine noticed my cold air filter had slipped out of the hose and clamp and was just sitting in the the holding area, so I quickly re attached and clamped it down.....great people there again as well. I highly recommend it if you are ever near Crete IL on Memorial Day weekend. 66 cars today.
:hooray: Mike took home 1st in the Stock Trans Am class, and I took 2nd in the Modified class, not sure how since mine was stock too. LOL Hey, is that a 4th gen on the trophy???? Good Times.
It was great meeting Mike and his daughter in person too. She was a trooper as they stretched the awards out till almost 6. Mike's TTA is simply beautiful and love the strobe lights, as well as everybody else loved seeing them on too, what a presentation. we have to do some more shows.
I apologize for not taking more pics, hopefully Mike took some with his camera. A lot of people take pics at the event and will post them on the Third Gen Forum in the Midwest Region Forum, but none there yet. This was the only one I had someone take of me and Mike after the awards. I finally got to wear my reunion shirt and TTA watch too... what a dork... Love it.
