They Think They Have A 20th Aniv. Trans Am For Sale

I saw that one to, Mike. I just didn't know what to say. Either they really don't know, or their tring to con people that don't know?

I've seen this several times. I think the confusion is the year 1989 was the 20th anniversary year for the Trans Am. So sellers use "20th anniv" term rather loosely, although they are not selling the 20th anniv model. Obviously they haven't done their homework. :dumb:

Hi Folk's, The Ebayer "Greg" emailed me back thanking us for the correct info and sorry for the confusion. This is his email:

Hello Classiccarguy,
Thanks, since it was a GTA and twenty years old, I thought it was the 20th anniversay. I searched the
web and I found the v6 turbo you were talking about. My mistake, no this is not the v6 turbo, this is
the 5.7 v8. Thanks again. I will post this on my ad so people will know the car that I am selling.
Thanks Greg

Honest mistake, I see it all the time with 30th & 35th anniversry Camaros, people advertise them as SE's just because of the script in the cars.
