The wheels are the problem.

I hope GM stays around. My dad wants to buy one and keep it forever. Say his "retirement car." He wants it custom ordered with a unique RPO sticker. He is holding out for the LS7 with dark grey stripes. Knowing him, stripped down! I do love the angel eyes. I was making a long distance trip two weeks ago at saw one going the other way at dusk. Neither of us had our lights on and we were on a desolate stretch of road. It look menacing. Very cool.

I hope your pops gets his car, that would be a cool ride. I think the ground affects ruined the car I posted, I personally like cars to stay with the way the factory designed them for the actual "shape" of the car. I heard that GM had planned to make a "snake killer" Z/28 that was going to have the Z-r1 drive train, but got scrapped after Obama took over GM,...sad, I'd like to see a remake of the "legendary" ZL-1 Camaro from 69, or even another pace car from 69. Look at the original 69!! That's hard to beat even with new tech and all.

The pictures of them look good, but I'm not a big fan of them up close. I sat in several today at the dealer. I think the materials are first rate, but overall I am very dissapointed. It is about 10% to big, but yet very cramped feeling inside due to the tall hood, dash, and doors - the very small glass area makes it feel very strange.

They will make the ls9 but the only issue I have with it is you can't modify as easily as the ls7. The same reason my Corvette someday will be a zo6 and not the zr1 even if I could afford it.

Not sure I like the wheels but I do like the ground effects. I'm still up in the air about the car in general.

And someone already put the LS9 in the Camaro, Hennessey.
