Stock rocker arms with roller cam

I plan on keeping the stock rockers with the 206/206 comp roller cam. Anyone have any input whether this is ok or not?

One of the great reasons to go roller is so you can run more spring pressure. That is a lot of spring pressure for those stocker rockers of you run a spring like Comp 941's...which is a good spring and the heads do not need to be machined to fit.

Should work though...

My opinion is that it's not okay,for the reasons Joe laid out. Higher spring pressures may cause some scrubbing issues at the stem, or stress fractures of the rocker arms.

But it appears others are doing it with no problems.So I guess you could save yourself some money by not.

I'm running the 'Kmotion' springs which have around...(135lbs?). If I move to a roller rocker...what should I go with considering my combo?

im only lookin for mid 10's so it shouldnt be a problem ... when an issue arises harland sharps will be put on

Biggest issue with stock rockers is IF you have bronze valve guides the scrub design of the rocker combined with higher spring pressures will wear the guides. With stock guides you should be ok though personally I'd still run roller rockers.
