Was out with the car and noticed there is no shift indicator! How do you know what gear your in. At night it lights up but nothing there. Is there a pin or something light up? Help!

Consoles from the 91-92 Cars have an indicator. Nice that it took GM so long to fix such a simple problem. You can find a used console on eBay occasionally, but you have to make sure it's the right one. Replaced mine a few years back after another TTA owner told me about it.
what the!!! You mean there is no indicator on these cars! That's crazy! I was looking down and I thought.. hmm should be something telling me what gear I'm in.. I can't believe they didn't have one! :roll: :sad:
No problem, lever lines up with R D N etc Or use your sixth sense 
You need just the console plate (cover plate) from a 91-92 not the complete console and you can swap it out in 5 min or so. I might try to get hold of one as well at some point.
