I am currently running 245/50 16 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season Plus tires on factory rims. After increasing the stall on my torque converter, I am suddenly having more traction issues than I would like. I am having trouble finding anything wider or stickier in an all season tire. I would like to stay with the stock rims. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Mickey Thompson Street radials 255 50/ r16 on the street. They're pretty decent, and pretty predictable. At the track for me they have been pretty inconsistent. I have the Mickey Thompson E.T. streets on another set of wheels for the track. They are size 26X10.50-16. I actually ordered these by mistake. I wanted the 26X11.5-16, but at the track the smaller size has hooked perfect. I have a third set of wheels that I'm about to order a set of Hoosier drag radials size 295/ 50R16. This is a 28" tall tire, and from what I have read a few board members are running these with zero, or minimal clearance issues.

I am needing a complete four corner replacement set and have decided on these, BFGoodrich G-Force Sport COMP-2 245/50ZR16.

I don't think you will find a all season or performance tire that has the traction of DR's, i just put two MT's on spare GTA rim's, then swap around when the need arrive's...
