Sad day .... one of the 6 TTA's here in the UK been written off ... (not mine).

Apparently the owner had it at a local garage for smog test and some work to be done ... parked in the forecourt area some one crashed thru the nearby pubs outside garden area (a couple of fences) t-boned the TTA and pushed it into a corvette parked behind it ...

Both sides of the TTA are badly smashed up with floor pan and other major damage so been written off by the insurance company and can't be fixed .. owner bought it back for spares so will see what happens.

Anyway, we got some photos we can post later on and also the VIN so we can account for it.

So 5 TTA's left in this country :-(

That sucks sorry to hear that. Post the pics when you can. Like GN's I collect pics of wrecked TTA's as well. At least these cars can be had for a decent price still. Tell him to jump back in and get another shipped over the pond. He'll have plenty of parts! :)

Do you know what # it was? I can sell him mine for 13000euro. It would be interesting to get parts from...wonder how much the owner would sell for?

I'm getting the VIN and pictures within the next day or so .. he did get a hefty sum of money from the insurance company specially considering the milage etc. He's already getting a new one as one of the other TTA owners have to reluctantly part with his (good deal for a 33k miles TTA) ...

I will find out what happens with the now "parts car" ... :-)

Can you keep us posted if he parts it out? I am looking for a complete computer.

Will do, not sure what will happen to it yet ...

If you need a new/spare ECM there's a guy on tb.com that sell them at a good price so might be worth checking the 4 sale section on there as he always got good units up for sale.
