Stay thirsty my friends
I know,I know..don't boost with this chip. But before I jump into another quirk I found I wanted to know if this problem is programmed into the pitbull chips.
This TTA runs both cooling fans all the time. From start up till shut down. Not when the key is just "on" but running only. I have found a jumper wire soldered in the harness between the primary and secondary fan relays and before I remove it I was just wondering if this was part of using a pitbull chip. And that since the secondary fan relay is ECM controlled I thought maybe someone jumpered the secondary relay to energize the primary relay using the chip to run both fans all the time?
FWIW, I have a TT chip and 50lb's sitting on the shelf to be installed so I won't be using the pitbull chip. But I want to wait to install till the weather is better and I can tune it, rather than throwing parts at it in the garage without testing anything I've done.
I also just bought a TE44 turbo.
