Picked up some more spare parts

Got the taillights and center section from an 89 GTA. The parts had been in storage for a number of years. Not perfect, a few scratches, but no broken tabs or cracks. I know the center section is not correct but the white bird can be purchased and I hope to find a "Turbo" emblem some day.

As a bonus, the guy threw in the cassette holder for the center console. he said it was an option on the GTA and not very common. I had never seen one of those before. Anybody know about those? I will just put it with the other spare parts.
 
Nice score Kymmee! That cassette drop in piece was an option and could be ordered. I had one in my trans am and I kept my best tapes in there :)
 
The cassette holder was standard up till early 89 when GM discontinued them ... there's a post on here somewhere with dates and RPO code and also the notice of the change ...

I have all my cassette's on CD's since I have a CD player in the car. You all would laugh at my collection-its mostly 80's rock, metal, hair bands, etc.

Got any Cult, Bullet Boys, UFO, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Dio,
And the like? I dig all that stuff. I learned to play some of Dokken, and Maiden on guitar. :headbang:

Yeah, most of those groups I have. Also Metallica, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Rush, Nugent, Van Halen, just too many to list. 80's music is the best. It would be hard to pick a favorite. Cool that you play guitar. I just do air guitar.:rofl:
