PCV grommet leaks

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to eliminate PCV grommet leaks? I've RTV sealed the grommet and PCV several times and have stopped leakage--for a while, but eventually it starts to leak again. Adding a second breather helped, and perhaps I need to add a third. Any suggestions?

Try getting another driver's side valve cover. I've done this and it has really helped. I'm going to add another breather for the oil fill cap. I have a Metco one now and will be getting another. That'll make 4 breathers in all. The valve covers are cheap and can be found in just about any junkyard. Look for front wheel drive cars with either the 3.0-3.8.

I can do that. In fact, I have an extra set of 3.8 FWD valve covers. I've just got to fill the hole that is used for the PVC grommet in the end of the FWD driver's side cover, and make another breather from the oil filler cap like I did already (see earlier posting).

What you're saying is that I'll never be able to seal the grommet enough-- I've got to further deal with crankcase pressure.

My mechanic friend told me to use Permatex Utra Black or The Right Stuff to seal the grommet, so I'm going to try that as well.
