DOWN TO $400 on owners kit

I am offering my owners kit for $450 (was $500) it is complete. This is only good for one week. Next week I won't need money anymore, and it won't be for sale.

NOS GM cam sensor $90 (was $150) [cost$300!!]
NOS 30lb fuel injectors $50(was $100) for 8 of them [cost me $250]
NOS parking lights, $35/both of them (was$50) [they cost me $120]
NOS rear third brake light $30 (was$40) [it cost me $90 to buy]

I also have

NOS gas pedal $10
NOS front marker lights $10/both
NOS radio and a/c surround garnish trim (with all the little tiny black squares on it) $15
NOS steering wheel $300 (there will be a 2 week delay in shipping this because it is at another house out of state and I will have to go and get it next time I go there)

This offer is only good for a week. Then I won't need the money anymore, in fact I will be rich then, and I will be looking to replace all this stuff. You might very well sell this same stuff back to me at double what you paid, if you were so inclined, and I would be happy about it.

If you do buy it, I will even buy the kit back from you if you like, for $800.

If you are going to be rich in a week, why dont you just borrow the $500 then you wont have to buy it back. Sounds funny.

If you were looking for some kind of explaination, here it is....

I don't know any loan sharks. I don't have any of the traditional vices, so I have never needed them. Perhaps ignore the part about buying it back. whatever. It was halfway a joke anyway. I could buy one anywhere for $1,000. I wouldn't have to buy the same one back. On the other hand, it is the one that came with my convertible tta, and someone could think that it would be better to have the original one back. Anyway, just think about yourself in this, forget about my problems. On the other hand, if you really are interested in my personal problems, they are no secret. so, read on....But it isn't pretty. So I spaced it way down to discourage reading it.


























I am trying my best to care for 2 sick parents here. I have 3 real estate properties in 3 states I am trying to care for and fund and maintain singlehandedly from afar, 30 cars (also in 3 different states), and we lost all our savings in an investment fraud scam. I didn't plan on this happening. Believe me there are reasons for everything in my life, and there are no simple answers. So forget about the suggestions. I have already thought about it. If the answers were that simple, I would have solved my problems already. For me to walk into a bank at this late date and ask for an immediate cash loan won't work. I would have done that if I could. This property was supposed to be sold a month ago. I wasn't even supposed to have to pay this tax bill. I wasn't planning on it. I have already paid $60,000 in real estate tax this year alone. There are lots of other intricate details to this problem, mostly stemming from the fact that nobody helps me and I have too much to do, and I can't leave my house for very long because my parents won't feed themselves or bathe themselves without me there. Remember, no suggestions. Don't tell me to put them in convalescent homes or hire a nanny. You don't have all the facts. Now I think I have divulged more than enough of my personal information here. I am just trying to sell something that could be helpful to board members at a low price. perhaps I should have left out the details. If you read any of my posts, they are all too long. I always say too much. It is a fault of mine. one of many.

If you were trying to imply that this is some kind of scam, it isn't.

Maybe everyone thinks I am a blowhard because I type too much on all my posts. whatever. I guess that is what I am with the typewritten word. In person, I am actually a man of very few words believe it or not. Maybe I type too much because I don't see my friends anymore. Maybe I just have enthusiasm for turbo trans ams, perhaps combined with attention deficit disorder. Believe it or not, living with old sick people, and knowing that they will not eat or bathe without you gets to be depressing. I have to do everything. All cooking, all cleaning, all bill paying, and nobody ever helps me. It is like pushing a freight train uphill, every minute of every day, week after week, year after year, knowing that if you take even a 1 minute break, the train will run you over and kill all your loved ones, taking all your worldly possessions with it, including everything you worked for your whole life, and everything your father worked for for 60 years before you. I have 2 sisters who live their own lives normally and leave this entirely to me. I used to live a normal life. beautiful life. 67 GTO and TTA in my garage, ready to be driven every day if I wanted. It was like a dream compared to this. Funny room mate, girlfriends, cable tv, food, everything. It was a dream life compared to this. My convertible sits in a storage unit. I see it once every few months, and drive it once a year if I am lucky. Another problem is, when depression sets in for several years, it makes everything harder to do. If you have not experienced this yourself, you wouldn't understand.

See? I always type way too much. Why do I do this?
 
Sorry to hear the life issues you're going through. It seems that selling all of these "nickel&dime" items isn't going to resolve you issues though. Why not sell one of your cars for a decent chunk of cash instead? It just seems that in the long run it's the better way to rip the bandaid off.

Life is an amazing ride, much like a roller coaster , has its ups and downs, just seems like the downs are much longer when your there, i lost both my parents at a young age, and taking care of parents is a rough road,not just mentally, but whole other dimension of unknown's, however i can offer you this bit of advice, "When you hit bottom....you can only go up"

My land is supposed to close this week. The closing date was gonna be monday. I have a tax payment due too, also on monday. The tax bill is $5,000, and I am about $1,000 short. I wasn't supposed to have to make this payment, because the closing was supposed to pay for it. But at the last minute, the attorney said he needed a couple extra days because he messed up the paperwork. He is missing an important piece of paper. There was an old mortgage on the land that was paid off 10 years ago, but when it was paid off, it wasn't filed properly. So he has to have a paper from the old lender saying it is paid off. He's waiting on that paper. The stupid thing is, I am $1,000 short on the monday tax payment, but 2 days later, I am getting social security for my parents, which is $1,800 electronic deposit. Actually, on tuesday night at 12:01 after midnight.

So you see, I am supposed to get $285,000 for this land this week, but if I can't make the tax payment in time, I lose the land, and the $285k! Plus, I have already paid $60,000 in taxes so far this year on the land. (I am selling it because the taxes are too high)

Selling cars is complicated when they are stored elsewhere and you can't leave your parents and nobody will help you.

I just sold a car 2 weeks ago, and when the shipper was loading the car on the truck, a drunk county sherrif came speeding down the road and smashed into the car, the car carrier truck, the truck driver's leg (he can't walk), and blamed it all on the truck driver. Even though the truck driver is the victim. And he totalled his radio car, and almost killed a 16 year old girl. I won't comment on this incident, because there may be cops on this board.
 
Sent you payment for the owners kit, hopefully you're able to get everything worked out.

After owning my car for 7.5 years I'll finally have an owners kit.

Dunno what's going on then. I had agreed on the original price with him on Thursday but then I got sent out of town before I could send the money. I noticed he had updated the thread with a lower price when I got back last night so I paypaled him the original price we had agreed on. I haven't heard back from him yet. It'd be just my luck to get beat out on another Owners kit.
 
Did you guys get this straightened out yet? I sent andre#4 payment (thru paypal) Dec 4th for something and have yet to receive it. He told me twice he would send it. Last contact with him was Dec 14th. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Andre-when will you be sending me my purchase??
 
I have received nothing and have not heard back yet from him. Not good! I purchased the rims and owners kit. Mark

Well I hope it works out for everyone. I wanted to buy more stuff, but since we dont know each other I bought one thing as a "test" and if he came thru I was gonna buy more stuff. I realize its the holidays and everyone is busy, but as a business owner myself, you have to follow things thru.
 
yeah it kind of pissed me off when we made a deal an then backed out .... i know post count doesnt mean much but ive met Dan aka grumpy and julio aka razor personally an bought many parts from both ... Jan is a good guy also and ive bought parts from another memeber turbota6 all parts were as described

i would like to say this is all amusing if no money was involed, andre you have never been at a lost for words before, where is it at now
