New area! What chips do you use/ have used?

Joe's right the stock boost gauge is okay for stock boost levels. That is one of the things I ask John Pearcy when I first got my TTA. If there ever was a expert on the TTA performance, he was.

Kid, the performance is alway better for these turbo cars when the weather is cooler!:)
 
Personally i wouldn't bet a new eng. against a 25yr old boost gauge, just don't see the point when they are only $30....
 
I don't think the chip has anything to do with the transmission shifting smooth or firm.About the stock boost gauge they are inaccurate you need to install an after market boost gauge like a auto meter gauge,a scan master for shore,the 5.7 chip from turbo tweek is a good chip he eliminates the emission so it feels a little quicker,plus all the adjustments you can do with.:eam:
