Looking For 1 Of The 2 Convertibles

Hi everyone: It's been probably about 10 years since I've been back to this forum. Been busy with family, work, kids, etc., however was curious if anyone knows of the 2 convertible owners, and are they ever on this forum? I know it's a long shot but would be looking to purchase one of the convertibles. I took a peek on the Registry, and it shows a Len Mankowski as owning #409, located in Nazereth, PA, which is coincidently only about 40 minutes away from me, however not sure of the accuracy of this information over the course of time. Shoot me a quick PM or response if anyone has any info on these cars.

I have a friend that might be selling his 1 of 24 Hard Top Leather TTA's soon. He said he wants $31,500 for it and I told him I would try to find someone. He doesn't need to sell it and he wants someone who is a TTA enthusiast to buy it and not a flipper. I think the car has about 60K miles on it, but is more of a show car these days and is super clean. His name is Chad and his number is 815-695-5290 if that sounds like a car that would interest you. Tell him Mike told you to call. He said he won't sell it for a penny less, but I think he wants to build a fast T-Type driver since he already has another GN show car as well.
 
Mike: Thanks for the reply and the lead. I'm partial to the T-Top cars, so his offering won't do it for me, but again, thanks for the reply. I'll keep searching around, as I am in no rush.
 
Sorry, I might have read a couple posts and got confused. I thought you were looking for a low production TTA since you mentioned looking for the convertibles and thought of my buddy selling his Hard Top. Good luck on your search and there are many TTop Leather cars out there.

I think it changed hands. The owner used to post here awhile ago. Then he beat some members out of parts he sold to them after taking their money. His screen name was Andre#4 IIRC

I saw the one you're talking about for sale not too long ago in Hemmings I think. The car was located in Allentown, which is around the corner from Nazareth. I live in Florida but my office is up Rt 33 from Nazareth, so I'm there all the time. I contacted the owner about going to take a look at it, and he never even replied to me, but I was upfront by saying I wasn't interested in purchasing it, only to come see it, since I'd never seen one in person, so that's probably why he didn't. Check Hemmings and maybe Hagerty's also. I'd say I'd seen it about 6 months ago. GL Steve
