JC Whitney Annual Car Show Sunday 5/6/12

First car show(and sun burn) of the year.... Took CARRVTE this year, last year I took BADCARR.

I should of taken the TTA this year again, there was only one TA from the 80's there and a few IROC's. There was a mint GNX clone and another very nice T-Type too.

Saw some very cool cars though. Took a bunch of pics. I left the house and it was sunny and 70, it is about an hour from home and of course hit a down pour 5 minutes from the show. Turned nice again for a couple of hours but left early because you could see the black cloud rolling in again and it shows in some of the pics.

The car I thought was pretty interesting was the limited edition Chevy HHR SS, it was a Turbo HHR rated at 250 hp. I had never seen one before.

The Custom painted Skull Camero was just sick.... it may be hard to tell, but there was even skulls on the tail lights and rear side markers.

Check out the kid taking a nap under his dad's General Lee. That cracked me up.

Love this time of year though, nice to be kicking off the show and cruise season again. :beach:

How do you know that was a GNX clone? Did you talk to the owner? From the pics it looks pretty authentic to me. Not many people would get the dash plaque made for a clone, along with the GNX specific turbo shield in the proper finish. And his little show card stated the car #.

Yea, I know the owner. Me and a buddy who also has a TTA cruised with him to the same show last year. What a blast that was, I'll never forget it. It is mint though. Looks probably better than most real ones.

He also told me where to get a GNX turbo shield for RAYDER..... For sure the most expensive mod yet....but worth it to me....
