Hmmm- does nobody have the stock airbox? I can't even find an online manual that discusses how to do this. I'd start pulling on stuff, but I have a tendency to break things.

Almost everybody pulls the stock airbox out and sticks a K&N on the end of the MAF.
I still have the factory airbox, but it's been so long I don't remember how it works. I'll look at it when I get home tonight from work and let you know. I don't want you to break anything!

Thanks- I tried partially disassembling it, going through the wheel well, jacking up the car and going underneath- etc. I can't even see how to get it out of the car. Maybe I'll take it out and put a cone filter on. I assume you just clamp it to the MAF? Which filter part #? I'd prefer a dry conical filter if anyone has a part #. Thanks!!!
Remove the plastic elbow at the top then look straight down and you see a nut on a long shaft this hold the top part of the air box ..... rest you can work out when you see it ... if original maf is there and attached to the air box bracket remove the two screws there first

Got it!!! To my surprise I found a clean K&N Air Filter in there.
1. Remove the windshield washer bottle by removing the two push-pins.
2. Remove the two screws from the newly exposed elbow hose bracket that is blocked by the windshield washer bottle.
3. Take the intake hose off at the elbow- carefully unplugging any wires that are in the way.
4. Reach INSIDE the elbow tube with a small crescent wrench and remove the nut that holds the lid on.
BOOM! Done! P I T A! 15 min job counting all of the time I dropped the one push-pin trying to get the windshield washer bottle back on- lol.
