I will be on this years power tour and this year my unkle will be going for the first time. we will be taking turns driving my 89 TTA and my 2006 Supercharged Cadillac XLR-v. Was wondering if there would be any other TTA's on the tour and if so are they doing the long haul also.
I'm planning on going from the start to South Bend. If anyone would like to join I live about 15 miles from the South Bend Location and we have a couple of extra beds and maybe a garage space (if not we have a 3 car driveway).
I'll be there with #124 as long as I can get it finished. If not I'm going with #850
I finally got 124 out for a little ride yesterday, new paint, new wheels/tires, new glass wing - still needs some interior stuff put together and not happy with the headliner but running good. Gonna get to some of the mechanicals starting today, mainly the oil leak that I think is a rear main seal.
look forward to seeing everybody, good luck on that rear main seal i just went throught that a little while back. But after owning several of these cars before I can say that I think if you dont have some type of leak then thats when you should worry. I cannot stand for any of my cars to drip anything but have come to terms with the TTA.
As another update guys, I'm planning on trying to get a cruise-in/dinner together in South Bend. The location is at Das Essenhaus Essenhaus Amish Style Restaurant it's an amazing restaurant with room for several hundred cars easily. They're used to working with car enthusiasts since they do a pretty good sized cruise-in every Thursday, 100-200 cars normally. If you're planning on going send me an email at [email protected] so I can get an idea of how many people will be going to let them know.
Jared, I'm doing the entire tour including a layover in Indy the day before Madison. I dont have my hotel info handy but I'd like to meet up somewhere, dinner sounds good. Hopefully #124 doesnt give me a problem and leave me stranded I've put about 1,000 miles on it scince going back together doing a bunch of local shows, some shots of #124 and #850 together
And a finished shot of #124 as she will look on the tour
