um when I shut the trunk it doesnt do the little noise thing and lock in place, could a fuse be blown or something

how much would a new one cost and is there instructions someplace on how to replace it?

This is a common problem with the electric pulldown motors. You probably just shut it gently and the latch didn't catch. Try putting your finger down where the latch catches and you'll feel the switch. That should activate the motor. It should then cycle all the way down, then all the way back up. Make sure it catches when you close it.

If that doesn't work it is possible you blew a fuse.

somehow it was down all the way and wouldnt go back up just stuck a flathead screwdriver on the latch and it activated it and came back up, odd but it did latch it tight then, not sure how that happened
