Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem with my TTA headlights.. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont? Any help would be great. I have read that there are kits that u could change the gears.. Is this hard to do? Has anyone done this.. Thanks again..

I do hear the motor running.. I talked to a friend of mine on here and she told me to hold the button in, instead of pushing it and letting it go.. It seems to work when I do that.. you think I should get one of those kits?

Don't jump right on the kit rebuild bandwagon just yet.
The switches eventually wear some, try doing a "pressure test" with your fingers. If you have to push it harder to engage the headlights, this could be the issue.

I recall within the past couple years seeing someone on the forums offering a switch replacement or rebuild or something of the sort. The replacement part matched up well to the looks of the original.

I bet it's the switch, if they work when you press hard on it then try replacing that one ...

Cheap aftermarket switches out these days:

Thats what was wrong with my headlights, worn out switch. Replaced with the Well, and they work good now. The only thing is the Gray color is a little brighter color than the oem.

You can also try to clean the old switch contacts, that might help.
