Hawks vs Elite replacement seats

OK-heres my dilemma. Need rear seats. Havent had any luck locally finding someone competent to do this. Hawks has full set (Katzkin) for $999. Found Elite (I guess formally Jax)-talked with them, rears only replacement covers $894. Has anybody tried Elite, or are the Hawks a good match.?? With my floor mat experience, not feeling too comfortable with taking employees suggestions and this is a lot more coin. I have read the old threads and have missed out on the group purchase, so I assume some of you got the Hawks-what did you think about quality, match, etc?? Any input appreciated.

WE were talking about doing another group purchase from Hawks. So before you go buying any, post something up about doing a GP and see how many people are interested. I personally wanted to do the Katzkins from Hawks based on what I read in the past threads and their (Hawks) willingness to discount their products for us. Just throwing it out there before you spend money that have have been saved by doing a GP.

Mine has the Hawks front and rear. Nice quality but the color is off alittle more than I would like.

Buckeyetroop-are the centers of the seats perforated?? Its hard to tell in the picture. I requested a sample from Hawks (asked for Jeni-was told she doesnt work there anymore-did you guys know that??). That way I can see if it matches the fronts. My fronts were done a week before I got the car from an upholstery friend of the PO. The quality is excellent and they look great, I dont know where he got the leather. If its a good match I would be willing the split the cost, if someone needs fronts only. Or is anybody game for a group purchase?? I'll keep you posted when I get the sample piece.

Yes they are perforated. I guess when compared to the orange looking originals overtime, it is a different shade. Its been awhile since i've looked at originals, I'm going by the door panels. I think they look good though.
