Gave it it's first wash after the new paint job. Waited almost 2 months for paint to fully cure. I can still smell it under the tonneau cover.

It's mostly stock. Just larger injectors and chip to match. Other bolt on stuff like 3 bar MAP. Going to keep it that way. Runs strong at 115 K miles. Trans is rebuilt as well as the turbo. Re did timing chain and sprockets just because. Took it to the track once...no timers plus it was just 1/8 mile. Guy in the 4 door dodge though he really had a chance. LOL

Very cool! I'd love to add one to the garage.
Back in the day a buddy bought one that he still has. Goes 11.40's. Stock bottom end. A couple others had them too but no longer. One of our friends bought 4 typhoons back in the day. Sure was a lot of fun!

I will share this since it is Syclone related. Just recieved a email for former PAS engineeer this past week and he wanted me to share it. It is about the transmission output shaft. It is not from Scott Kelly, but from someone else!Syclone trans shaft.jpg

I went with the truck as it is more rare. It's a tight fit behind the steering wheel. Had the prop shaft out while breaking in the rebuilt transmission. It gets squirrelly quick! I like it better when it just chirps the tires and goes as opposed going sideways on 2WD mode,LOL.

The transmission is rather unique. Uses corvette parts in a 4WD unit such as servo and governor. Good to know other stuff was made more durable.

Took a ride in this 550 hp rocket, woohoo!
Took the owner for a ride in the Sy and he was impressed with the V6 torque. Built about 7psi and let 'er rip. I was using a mix of 92 octane unleaded and E85. The truck loves it! 0 knock. Guys wants a SyTy now LOL.
