fuel injectors dirty...what to do.

My tta sat for ten years and now I am sure the injectors are dirty. Is there someone I can send them to or take them to? Maybe Kirbans. My location is allentown pa. It is frustrating to drive this way. part throttle acceleration is not there. lag is very long. and full boost has knock.. I know the poor thing is starving for fuel. One of my other cars won't even start at all because of dirty injectors so I know that sitting around f#cks them up. Fuel turns to shellac.

I want them really clean. Like new. Is that possible or do I need new injectors? I'd like the car to stay original because it has low mileage about 9k miles.

My other tta's I bought new and drove every day, so I never had a dirty injector do deal with.

Rc engineering does this as well just google rc injectors and it will come up I know many that have gone through them they do a good job

why not put new 60#ers in with a nice turbotweak chip ? or do u want to keep the car stock ?

Car doesn't have to have stock injectors. What would 60# injectors do with nothing else other than the chip. I thought you didn't need more fuel injector unless you were using bigger turbo. Wouldn't too big an injector make it run worse?

These are innocent questions, not the start of an argument.

I already have a TT chip but it was made for stock motor. The motor knocks real bad with it.

I put in the stock chip, and the knocking is a little less but I think the injectors are dirty since the car sat for years undriven. And the part throttle acceleration is bad. Turbo lag is very long. THen when it gets going good it starts to knock. Just seems to be starving for fuel. Coil pack is new already.

I used to have trouble with the waistgate solenoids, they would cause similar problems. They were easy to buy at the chevy store. I used to keep spares. I don't know where to buy them now.

The car will never go to the track and will never get racing gas, but I would always like more power on the street. I'm not going to do a turbo right now though. My dream is to do the big ball bearing liquid cooled turbo with fuel system and torque converter to match. But that probably will never happen.

60's would make your car run awesome. They would be new and are easily tuned. You would not be able to tell a difference from stock. I had 60's on a stock limited with nothing else other then a translator, Walbro 340, and a chip.

It is called a 21 year old shitty fuel pump that wasn't strong enough stock. You can have 800 lb injectors and a crap fuel pump, and it won't deliver any more fuel then 20 lb injectors can.

Probably have a cracked header or your car is SOOOOOOOO lean it can't make boost. How much knock are you getting? I bet your FP is bad too. Have you replaced the vacuum hoses on the motor? What about the Y setup? Do you have zip ties or hoses clamps on the turbo and wastegate actuator connections? What s your fuel pressure?

I've never had one go bad. Probably not your issue.
